Key features of the LexisNexis Insurance Exchange for Carriers include:

  • The Product Documentation feature allows full member carriers to upload documents to a searchable library that describes product offerings. These documents can include underwriting guidelines, marketing brochures and other program literature. Carriers can upload documents with specific characteristics, such as line(s) of business and applicable state(s).
  • The Market Finder feature enables member carriers to communicate their risk appetite in a searchable and data-centric manner. This enables producers to find markets that align with their risk submission. Market Finder leverages several search criteria, such as industry classifications (for example, NAICS and SIC), line of business, location (state, city or zip), years in business and gross receipts.
  • The Knowledge Center allows carriers to send targeted messages to selected LexisNexis Insurance Exchange users. For example, carriers that are introducing a new program in a specific state or region can target their communication to the appropriate agents and brokers, who will see it in the course of their submission work in the Insurance Exchange.
