He is also responsible for leading innovation within the team, developing creative ways in which data can be used to productionise the detection of emerging fraud trends in real time. Michael has a technical background, holding a degree in Mathematics and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence.

For several years Kate has been improving strategy and customer experience for multi-institution international clients whilst working within the payment processing and banking sector. She is an expert in cards, payments, application and digital fraud strategy management.

Tom Garner is responsible for working closely with clients to ensure they maximise the effectiveness and value that LexisNexis Risk Solutions offer. His role is to deliver a range of services post deployment, from strategic planning to ongoing solutions optimisation and tailoring the range of Fraud & Identity capabilities to a client’s business requirements and priorities whilst solving fraud problems across the fraud landscape.

Prior to joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions in 2018, Tom has over 10 years’ experience in banking including roles at Lloyds Bank, TSB and banking startups, holding a number of fraud related roles where he was responsible for managing digital fraud and security, application fraud and card fraud.

His success has had a wide impact, with high praise received from organisations in banking, ecommerce and fintech. Lancelot has an extensive technical background holding a MEng. in Mathematics and a MSc. in Machine Learning.

Dr. Stephen Topliss is a thought leader in fraud and digital identity and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and webinars. At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he is responsible for the strategic direction of Fraud & Identity global markets, driving product strategy and innovation aligned with customers’ current and future needs. Based out of Amsterdam, Dr. Topliss holds a PhD in Space Plasma Physics and is fluent in Dutch and French in addition to his native English.
