At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Sanketh leads initiatives in Health insurance solutions. He is responsible for new data initiatives and engagements with third party data providers.

Calvin Barber is Vice President of Technology, Insurance, for LexisNexis® Risk Solutions. As the senior global technology leader since 2012, Calvin’s chief role is the evolution, design, development, implementation and support for the company’s information systems and applications. Calvin rejoined LexisNexis in 2009 as an architect responsible for modernizing then ChoicePoint’s Insurance infrastructure and applications.
Prior to rejoining LexisNexis, he was Vice President of Advanced Analytics responsible for client specific analytics for government, commercial and non-profit clients. Calvin has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Senior Vice President, Analytics, Insurance, LexisNexis Risk Solutions
John Beal is Senior Vice President, Insurance Modeling Services, for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. He is responsible for leading the company’s insurance analytics and modeling products and services. With more than 20 years of experience in data and analytics across the insurance and financial services industries and market-leading innovations, Beal and his team develop incremental predictive uses of existing data and processes with a strong focus on developing personal and commercial lines credit-based loss models as well as new non-credit industry solutions.
Prior to LexisNexis, he held key leadership roles at First Union National Bank in Charlotte, where he was Vice President, Credit and Market Analytics within the Quantitative Analysis Group, and at Citicorp Bankcard, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Credit Policy Department.
Senior Director, Technology, India, Insurance
Kaustubh Deshpande (KD) is Director of Technology at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, with leadership responsibility for the technology department in India. Prior to joining LexisNexis he has acted as a technology and data leader in several multinational companies including Equifax, AT&T and ChoicePoint.
Kaustubh also has experience dealing with a variety of B2B and B2C data sets across telecoms, insurance and other financial services in the US, GCC, Australia, UK and India. Most recently he was responsible for leading data strategy at the Equifax Credit Bureau, leading decision-making on the use of alternate data, in addition to the usual credit data, to complement a consumer’s credit profile.
Last year, Kaustubh was invited to guide students at the School of Management at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and educate them on data and technology.
Kaustubh holds a master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Wright State University and a master’s in business administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He moved from Alpharetta, Georgia, USA to India a few years back and lives in Mumbai with his wife and their two daughters.

Abhijeet Ghosh is Health Insurance Vertical Director, India, for LexisNexis Risks Solutions. He joined LexisNexis in June 2017 with the responsibility for developing data and advanced analytics solutions for India’s health insurance industry.
He has over 14 years experience in the medical domain and insurance, having held senior positions at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and ICICI Lombard and has handled Product Development, Provider Management, Claims and Loss mitigation, Underwriting, and Analytics.
Abhijeet earned his Medicine degree at the prestigious Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur and DNB training in Orthopedics at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
Senior Vice President Insurance Solutions
Ash Hassib is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Insurance Solutions for LexisNexis Risk Solutions. He is responsible for business development and partnerships that strengthen the organization’s insurance offerings including marketing, point of sale, underwriting, renewal and claims. Hassib joined LexisNexis in 2002, became part of the insurance leadership team in 2005 and was named general manager in 2010. Hassib has led several product management teams that manage mission-critical products, such as MVRs (Motor Vehicle Records), Current Carrier®, and PolicyWatch, which benefit the insurance industry. He has also been involved in shaping the company’s position regarding legislation and regulations that affect the auto insurance market. With a bachelor’s in computer science, Hassib’s roles in IT increased in responsibility prior to joining LexisNexis. For more than seven years, Hassib successfully owned and ran a management and technology consulting company.
Senior Vice President and General Manager–International, Insurance
Peter Orlay is Senior Vice President and General Manager–International, Insurance, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for the expansion of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions insurance business into new international geographies, including establishing the insurance business in the UK, and taking the company into India, China and Brazil, as well as exploring a range of other markets.
Orlay has been with LexisNexis Risk Solutions since 2008, initially as head of insurance analytics in the US and UK. He is an industry expert in the use of external information and advanced analytical modelling, simulation and optimization techniques to improve customer-level marketing, pricing and underwriting decisions in insurance. Prior to joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Orlay founded ODG which provided price optimization software and services to insurers in the US, Australia and the UK, and was acquired by LexisNexis. Before ODG, he was a management consultant specializing in business strategy with the Boston Consulting Group, AT Kearney and with his own firm, ACP.

Shivakumar Shankar (Shiv) is Managing Director, India, LexisNexis® Risk Solutions. He brings more than 25 years of diversified experience in consumer durables and insurance of which more than a decade has been in insurance and insurance data solutions. Shiv is well versed with the underwriting & business needs of the Indian insurance market and is working to bring data driven practices to insurers. In this role, he helps insurers manage the challenges of making complex data solutions work for real-time transactional decision making.
Shiv has been Managing Director of the India business since August 2012, and is an industry expert on the collection and optimisation of data for use in insurance risk assessment. Before joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he was Sr. VP – Marketing & New Initiatives at Cholamandalam MS General Insurance.
R&D Director and Director of Automotive Development, EMEA
Paul Stacy is R&D Director and Director of Automotive Development, EMEA, at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Paul works closely with automakers across the EMEA region to help them leverage the data from connected cars. A key figure within the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Global Products team, Paul is focused on developing solutions that bridge the insurance and automotive manufacturing industries utilising connectivity as a means to engage consumers with driving behaviour information, collision detection and other services. Paul has more than 10 years’ experience in telematics across five continents and has four connected car and telematics patents in his name. Paul co-founded Wunelli, a leading telematics company acquired by LexisNexis Risk Solutions, responsible for the proof-of-concept UBI product, Coverbox, in the UK motor market. Prior to this, Paul worked for Accenture’s insurance practice in Australasia and as a UK-based insurance broker. At University, he studied engineering, completing a master’s degree in mathematics.
